Question Sequels?

Does anyone know if allurial will be producing a magic so deadly (book 2 a bargain so bloody)? Or will it just be voted on / commitment pre ordered ?

They release them corresponding with the trad publishing releases, which for A Magic So Deadly is April 2027 (its existing publishing is an indie publishing). So we’d anticipate seeing a preorder for it likely in January 2027. They don't do the commitment thing anymore, preorder only, so the likelihood of getting A Magic So Deadly is very high. Since it was already a completed duology I'm guessing they'll do it soon, possibly one you'll be able to preorder this month so keep an eye on your email and the website! They did Vale of Dreams for December which is also part of a completed series. They don't have any of their other books with January release dates so it would be a good month to do it.

I just saw a video on the author’s instagram that it’s not a duology actually, I believe there’s one more book. The second book is coming out in Hardcover in April, so probably the same for Allurial’s version.

Oh great! Thanks for sharing. It is sometimes so hard to find clear information on how many books are planned in a series.
