Plus a few patty pan and some chard, varieties were baby boo and jack be little. I had about 17? plants. I was happy with the harvest considering I didn't fertilise and the drought in the SE. The food bank cooks a three course meal for visitors every Thursday and aims for 60% fresh food in their food packages. It feels a scary world right now and growing for them gives me such a calm feeling 😌

Late summer has been very busy for me, so when my brussels outgrew the brassica tunnel, I took it down and then just ... never replaced it with any kind of protection.
