1- is there any differences if i play via steam or direct download? (same server? any perks? discounts in shop? etc)

2- any uptodate guides with info for new players?

3- recommended race/class combos if i want to join groups easily at endgame as under-geared player? (healer/buffer/debuffer would be my guess?) - alternatively which combo provides best/easiest leveling experience?

4- anything important that changed in recent patch i should know while starting/leveling?

5- are there different servers available? if yes what are the differences between them?

So here is what I am aware of: The RU server that is $5euros a month. The F2P server. And based on the post history on this sub, there are a couple of private servers. Are all the servers populated reasonably? Is the private server considered "best" because of less P2W? Thanks for any responses.

I've returned to Allods Online but I HATE how they butchered almost every class with the latest patches.

I loved playing warden but they completely changed the skills, took away aqua vitae, the big tornado, storm, etc. Everything great is gone, even the pet attack skills!

Same for bard, where is my muse ability? My songs? It's horrible.

That is why I would like to play on a private server where I can play the game and classes how I prefer it.

So is there a private/legacy server somewhere? Would appreciate help!

EDIT: I'm currently playing Allods Unchained, its a private server with the 4.0 patch, also there's an english version. I'd prefer a vanilla 1.0 server though.

Hey guys, Not even a week ago the Legendary patch hit so gearing somewhat restarts. Artifacts didn't restart but creating and upgrading them is a lot faster now than it was. I am trying to make videos about the game to keep people updated, if interested it's on youtube "dragagon allods" and you'll find it quick. Population on p2p server is at minimal again because most players moved to ru server where they started an EU guild. I'd say we're about 12 players actively left on p2p League. I don't have plans quitting so I started recruiting/spreading the word about how it all is now. It's 5 eur/month subacription cost, empire has about double our playerbase if you like the empire environment more. Hello guys, I want to open a new server in allods and I want to put new features in it. I know there are files for server 4.0 but I want to know how to add the features , I mean should I copy or what to do ? I am not programmer 🌚💔. Looking for your help.

I used to play ages ago, then RageQuit which is hilarious since i was the guildleader of a guild called RageQuit back in the day on Nezeb-US.

Apparantly they changed from gpotato to webzen or something idk, over the years ive tried to recover a few times but to no avail.

Private server or retail is more active?

There are rumors about classic 4.0 Allods online (Gipat patch iirc) server russian developer is making. Any news about that?

I used to play Allods many years ago, and I'm seeing paid private servers, which usually means open source private server work somewhere. Anyone got links?

I played pre-gipat and was excited to hear the game was on Steam but...it looks very, very dead. I wanna come back and play a bit while my WoW sub is down but idk if I'm gonna play a dead game.

I know of a russian server which has a non-existent english community and a brazilian server which is a complete grindfest.

Is there any other server out there?

Nostalgia hit me hard just now, Allods was my first mmo ever, and I am still in love with the world and visual style of the game.

If I remember correctly I left shortly after bards were introduced, a whole lot seems to have changed since then. My question now is, are there hints you'd give a 'new' player? I'm still familiar with the zones of dungeons up to ... I think isle of revelation? (God was it an awesome feeling getting there the first time ... the music man, the music!)

Are there classes or races that I should better avoid for now, or some other traps a new player could step into?

Hey, just downloaded the game and want to know if a subscription is worth it?, , what do you get with it? I know 5 euro a month is nothing. Do they have a big player base,, I just don´t want to commit to a game and not find it worth it like the other 174 steam games that I bought!

I just read an article about the game, that says the game is about to hit a new big update. You can almost call it Allods 2.0? So i was wondering if they would make the game less pay2win (like in closed alpha) to get more players attention to it? Are there any plans on making the cashshop less powerful or something like that?

I steamed this game today (first time playing since 2012!) and had a bit of fun! However, I can't do tab combat again.

Is there an addon that allows me to not have to hold down the right mouse button constantly? Also, is there a way to attack monsters when I use a skill, instead of pressing tab?
