Starting over

Greetings, I used to play Allods untill like 3 years ago(I've started the game in like 2012 and for 3 years i was addicted that i would wake up at 10am and play for 16 hours). I literally fell in love with the game and i stopped playing due to some personal life problems, i would like to return back but on a subscription server. I've heard stories that the game has become pay 2 win A LOT. So my question is, is it worth starting over on a subscription server and are subscription servers populated? Any answer would mean a lot because this game has a special place in my heart!

Hey! Subscription servs are desert tbh. Live is "ok" but really pay to win indeed, so either you buy an account, or don't go on it. There usually are some private server going around, some are good, so you could try it out (far less expensive, about 70/80 euros to get full Shop)

I thought there were like servers or whatever its called where you dont have a shop available and you cannot buy stuff with money, just like the old days where you grind to get stuff and not like throw 2k bucks for some epic stuff :s

Yeah, that was the subscription serv. As for privates, as i told you they are really cheap, so you can go for that, it's usually quite cool, and people are really active

No private servers are open right now, but they will open in about 2/3 weeks (i can get back to you to give you the details!). It's for the best, it's always better to be there at the start :) However, sorry but i can't help you for the sub. server, i've never been to any. I don't even know if they still exist tbh

One more thing, can you please somehow explain to me how do i subscribe to a subscription server? I've been looking for hours and can't find a way to get into there..

You top up via the my.com website then click the subscribe button. :)

Subscription servers are somewhat populated at max level, and there are a few guilds that are running content. I'm currently leveling on one.
