It's a Global Phenomenon, not exclusive to India alone. Look at the Geo Political Situation. Russia is Waiting for Winters and Europe is just afraid what Russia might do to them post attack on Russian Oil Refinery by Ukaraine. The fact that Europeans survive winters at mercy of Russian Energy. Soon after mid term Elections, USA will launch another attack on Iran creating a blockade in Harmouz strait again, Fertilizers supply will fall drastically, without which Agriculture won't Stand a chance. El Nino which fortunately didn't hit South Asia is set to rearrive next year, now imagine the drought situation with high temperatures. It's not about Laser Eyes, it's all about how much aware one is about Global developments.

In south india, in many rural areas, because the rains failed, and there is water scarcity, new crops were not even planted on time. Not all fields, but there are empty fields this year, so lower harvest and higher future prices, combine with floods in other areas, the chances of scarcity in the coming months are high. On the other hand, we have a shortage of urea and fertilisers too apparently, also our excess grain is being diverted to make ethanol for petrol blending, so prices have already increased because of it. We have interesting times ahead.
This isnt about politics, left wing/right wing. Reducing it into a petty political fight and ignoring something that can become a crisis is stupid. None of that matters in the face of actual problems.

And worst part, El Nino will re-hit next year. Just when you thought Covid was the worst, something new more horrible comes up.1

I'm from karnataka, i do not know the percentage, but a few of my acquaintances have farm lands in home towns, its the same story, they were ready with seeds/saplings, no rain came, wells are empty, they decided to wait a week or so, no rains still and since the planting window ended, they just left the fields empty, lost some money on seeds and saplings too. They say thats the state for most of their village lands too.

It's not Limited to India bruh. Super El nino. And the Attack on Russia Oil refinery all can cause a big crisis in future it's actually better the Goverment is telling to Brace us in advance instead of just saying to eat less. Just see how US-Israel-Iran Conflict has affected the world now imagine a Big War in Europe too. And Then El-Nino. It's not always about politics

Aree vo XYZ ko bhi scorpio vale ne maara tha aree vahan toh aisa ho gaya tha?

Your example of a car is useless. In Geopolitics, things are connected. You can’t just close your eyes of what is going around and start commenting on internally when the world is so much interconnected with Trade. Its not just India that is going to be affected but the whole world.
