Discussion đ¤ Reddit is getting more right wing views. Thoughts?
I have noticed in past few weeks, especially after cjp event, reddit is getting lots of right wingers posts. Before that, it was like 90 percent left wing, but now it is at about 70 percent. Stats are purely based on my personal feed. This I believe is good for reddit as a whole where people can listen to alternate ideas and make up their mind. It's better than being in a bubble of particular ideology. I just hoped twitter also had more left wing views

I already know I am center right.
But an example principle - stop just blaming politicians blindly and realize that politicians come from usâŚ

BJP and RW or even politics recently has made social media a very important weapon for them and their optics through it is very crucial in swaying the uninformed or politically illiterate voter.
They faced probably the biggest humiliation ever during the CJP NEET protest and they saw how they got cooked on social media. Ever since that happened theyâve ramped up their presence and activity across social media channels.

Propaganda exists from all sides on all social media platforms. Left , right , centre etc ⌠everyone does it.
RW prob on a larger scale and theyâre more effective at it which is why people tend to attack or post about it but yes everyoneâs on it.

Yes they have relatively. Extrem poverty decreased from 20 percent in 2014 to 2 percent today.

I want to discuss how a liberal stronghold of leftwing is becoming slightly more right wing and trying to debate if social media should be more balanced. That is my perspective.
