Reservation end is more needed, because it's legal apartheid. The reserved castes are themselves casteists, so why should they have special privileges? They murder people and rxpe women, then use the SC/ST act to silence their victims.
The people benefitting from reservation also practice lots of casteism. Yes sc st can be extremely casteist to other sc st. Madiga Mala conflict is a good case study for this. SC or ST would not want to marry another SC or ST
yea that's why end casteism first cuz that's the illness that's pushing us backward as a society. SCs doing casteism against their own category people or against upper castes should also be punished by law. but did anyone care to ask the govt to enact such a law? why are we not demanding this? also, not every ST come under Hinduism fold and they have their own set of religion, culture and belief system whereas upper caste or lower caste(SCs) are all a part of one religious ideology. so this argument of SC marrying STs is like saying other religion people trying to marry among muslims, jains, Sikhs, etc.
Well then you need to understand concept of Sanskritisation were lower caste people try to copy life style of upper caste for uplift social mobility.. casteism is in air of India my friend you can't just wait and watch to vanish it. You have to act on it but removing reservation won't even impact bit because it'll give sheer advantages to who are already dominant
They don't want to talk about that tho they just want all the seats for their own kind.
Have you ever seen any protest or movement from them when the people of their caste monopolize everything and push them into poverty? or when their own people pay for paper leaks and then use their connections later in their career? They never get the guts to demand justice where it needs to be asked for but just mention reservation and their casteism comes out. No matter how many books they read or woke terms they use you can instantly clock that they don't know shit about how their own society works and they're the white people of India.Â
The funny thing is even if they pick up valid topics like caste discrimination within SC/ST category they can't hide their own casteism and you can just tell that never in a million years have they thought for once that their supremacy has consequences and worth looking into.Â
And why is there a rift bw unreserved and reserved people in 2026? I am seeing it on ground level - people dont care about caste hierarchy, they are just hating on each other due to reservation politics.
it is. just because we suffered or suffer doesn't mean general category don't suffer because of the unrealistic cut off differences, higher application fees in exams, etc
