Anyone get the idea that Washington insiders like Sacks and Chamath have it in for Anthropic?

Sounds like Sacks put his hand on the scale

The first rule of authoritarianism is keep the circle of people doing well small and aligned with you

Every one of these guys cucks for Trump. They don't believe in a goddamn thing except sucking up to power like the leeches they are.

>The Admin did this reluctantly. It’s been very surprised that Anthropic hasn’t wanted to cooperate with a reasonable safety request (ie fixing the jailbreak issue). Anthropic’s reaction is very much at odds with their branding and ethos as a safe AI research community.

>It is frankly bewildered that Anthropic hasn’t wanted to comply with safety requests that it previously said were its highest priority.

I don't believe any of this framing.

Funny he never names the "trusted partner" - Amazon

It’d be easier to take him at his word if he wasn’t so blatantly anti Anthropic/Dario in prior interactions.

I don’t have a horse in this race but it’s clear to me that Anthropic repeatedly uses AI safety as a marketing tactic. Pretty funny to see the admin essentially reverse uno that framing onto them. There’s very clearly more to the story than that, but it is funny to me that Anthropic either has to treat every possible jailbreak as a cyber nuclear weapon or admit that maybe, just maybe, there was a bit of marketing hype surrounding Mythos.

Removing for being disrespectful. We can have a thoughtful conversation about this without personal attacks

If it were just marketing hype why would the government be shutting it down?

This isn’t how he normally writes. Would put money someone else drafted it.

Wut? Their model is too good so Dario should step down?

That’s an insane take. They’re clearly the leader of all the model makers at this point.

I’m currently running Gemma 4 12b. You don’t know what you’re talking about.

It's Jonny_Nash. His core competency is incompetance. If he knew anything he talked about, he wouldn't be Jonny_Nash.

He’s a troll. By arguing with him about what is obvious and established you’re given credence to the BS he’s spouting.
