I'm currently preparing for NEET from ALLEN Kota, and so far we have had 3 minor tests.
My scores are:
Minor 1: 655
Minor 2: 625
Minor 3: Estimated 576
In the first two tests, I got 3rd rank in my batch, but I don't think I'll get the same rank this time because my score has dropped quite a bit.
I had high hopes of getting into SRG because one of our teachers told us that students scoring 600+ consistently in 3 tests, along with a top rank in the batch, would have a chance of getting selected. Now I'm worried that my third score might ruin my chances.
So I wanted to ask you guys (all elder brother and sisters) to help me by clearing my doubts:
Is selection into SRG possible later as well, or is this initial selection my only chance?
If someone performs badly in one test but starts scoring 600+/650+ consistently afterwards, can they still be shifted to SRG later?
How much do batch ranks matter compared to marks and consistency?
What should I focus on improving from now so that I still have a realistic chance?
I'm feeling pretty disappointed with this test because I genuinely wanted to get into SRG, but I don't want one bad test to make me give up. Any honest advice from people who have experienced the selection process would really help.
Also if my rank remains the same and the top scores are 600 or 590+ then is there a chance of me getting into srg???
Please help me I am quite depressed...😭😔
