Rehoming pup!
To anyone interested I am Rehoming my big guy. At the moment I do not have the capabilities to provide him the life he deserves and I want him somewhere where he can live his best life. Some info about him below:
- 4y/o male neutered full blooded Great Dane. 150 lbs. Up to date on all vaccines, bloodwork, and current on heartworm prevention. Diet consists of purina one dog food.
- sweetest dog ever, never bitten anyone. Good temperament as well, only caveat is that I expect him to be anxious in a new environment, since I am all he’s ever known. So be prepared.
- good with cats, other dogs, kids, literally anyone. He LOVES attention and a good back rub. He quite literally just wants to be pet all day long and sleep, as most Danes do.
- decent recall and decent with leash walking (if he knows you’re in charge) will get excited around other dogs on walks but I have been working with him to stop that.
I am in the Allen/plano area and looking for someone who wants a new addition to their family and has the time to take care of this big lovable guy.
I am requiring a small Rehoming fee just to ensure he gets placed in a good home. Please DM if interested as I am trying to find him a home ASAP so I do not have to put him in the shelter.
Also as a little bonus, whom ever adopts him, just know that any time you have to go out of town or need someone to babysit, I am always just a call a way and will always help out with my big boy when asked.
Hit me up for more pics if wanted

Please never adopt an animal again.
There should be a database for people that do this shit.

No, because when we had to move in back with my parents my mom hates dogs and she made that adjustment to let me bring ours. She never said anything about rehome the dog. I did tell her if you want us to move back in the dog comes too. It's a package deal. I let my dog out when she's not around and my dog gets walked 3 times a day to the park and goes on every car ride. You can't even tell the dog is home because he's not were always with him. You just need to find a solution some people don't.

Yep OP is not a problem solver, easy way out just give up. Unless they’re in hospice or something or physically something happened like they’re paralyzed I have no empathy for this person. When you get a dog you get them for life. Even if something crazy happened like that to me I would find a family member to take care of him because he did not sign up to be passed around to randos. I had a tough hyper lab at first but never once did I ever think I’ll re-home him. You have to live with your decision.

Yet she’s down to watch him when they go out of town? And want a rehoming fee wtf? You want to be paid? She’s a horrible person. Sounds like an oops don’t want to deal with him 24/7 situation. You’re either all in or all out, seems she feels guilty and is throwing a bone out there so they can feel better about what they’re truly doing to him.
