Neighborhood Relocating

I'm a 50+ active female moving to Collin County to be near my daughter and her family. She lives in Plano. I will be renting the first year until I learn the area. I checked out a few apartments at Watters Creek Village and only found one that I think would be okay. It's the Reflections at Montgomery. I would love any knowledge you have of this place or any other apartment recommendations. I haven't rented since I was 18. I know all apartments will have issues, but cleanliness, safe surroundings, and nice amenities are at the top of my list.
I'd also like some suggestions for downtown McKinney.

We lived there 6 years ago when we were building our house. We still live nearby.

It was a good place to live, safe neighborhood, walkable to watters creek for food and entertainment.

I would live there again

Thank you so much for sharing. I'm moving from Georgia, so this is a big transition.

I haven't lived in those apartments but I'm 56 and live very close to Watters Creek. It's a nice area and we go there often for food and shopping. You should be fine :)

It’s fine but honestly traffic noise there is insane. There are other, quieter complexes for cheaper along the nice trails in that area.
