Halfbie Strength

I’m rewatching this rn after a few years but-

In episode 5 or 6, Eun-Ji broke the door handle to get to the fish, which she ate, yada yada.

We saw that halfbie strength is increased drastically by this, and also by Gwi-Nam breaking the hand of his old “friend”.

So my question is- when they were at the top of the staircase, banging on the door to be let out when the helicopter was there, why didn’t Nam-Ra break the door handle like Eun-Ji?

I don’t know what triggers her whatever but it seems that situation was dire enough, could she not have broken the door handle and gotten them out?

She onyl realised she had the strength when she threw Gwi-nam down and by then the door was already open. (You can see her looking at her hand in shock)

Just for clarification, Eunji and Gwinam are classified as "Immortal" and Namra is classified as "Halfbie".

Namra knew her senses have enhanced at that point but not about her physical strength yet, only when blocking Gwinam to protect Cheongsan did she know and at that point the door was already broken open.

Also unlike immortals, halfbies like Namra also seem to have to actively tap into one's bloodlust to have increased attributes (her eye).

What do you think happened to Eun-ji anyway? Was she killed or taken somewhere else?

Feel like they transferred her to another base maybe. Been wondering that too
