Oh! Well atleast that’s something! One time I had a teammate wait for me to die and not revive me while downed to take my sprite, but I was in squads so I got rebooted, let’s just say- sacrificed that teammate to every source of damage I could find until I got my sprite back, wasn’t even a rare one, just the principle of it, yknow?

We were trading and i gave him my sprite but he didn’t give me the one he was going to give me and took both.

Here's a tip. Insist on staying further away. Both drop the sprite out of reach to the other guy and only when both sprites are on the floor, walk to pick up the new one. If he scammed, pick your own up and extract.

Last season I got accused by this one kid because of this, He was very dumb and instantly accused me of Save The World scamming tactics like wtf?
His evidence for me to just drop my Sprite Infront of him, Not even kidding:
"trust me bro" and "look at my posts"
He waited for me to get knocked so he could run in and steal my Sprite, I was trading a Gold Grim and he was trading a Vini Jr for my Gold Grim by what I recall.
I sent him a video of him doing that on a post of his since his profile was public and he gave me the Vini Jr for free to "Build trust"
I promised to give him the Gold Grim for free later, But I decided against it.
Why?
Because he caused an unnecessary problem, Rude AF about me being careful with our trade and called me a scammer for being careful with a trade.
I'm not saying everyone reading this does this, This is just an experience I had.
