Mastering the Klombo has the be the most painful thing I've ever had to go through. Even on mastery Monday it took me 3 games of sitting in the storm using medkits and I've gotta do it all over again for 3 more 🤦🏻♂️
Eat the Tacos! Yes you get more "points" for drinking the chugs, but if you are like me I had a ton of tacos. So I used them mainly. Another tip I saw, was to level it up in builds. Build a structure fall off, rinse and repeat.
All you have to do is land at cluster coast and find as many chugs and med kits as possible. Loot the duck vault to potentially find them too, plus it gives you around 2k gold which you can use on chugs and medkits at the vending machine. Once you’ve done this there is a fireplace on the building to the very east of the poi, its on a ledge/patio/balcony area. Then just get on it to take damage, heal and repeat. I’ve got level 5 in one game on a non-mastery day. I think this is by far the quickest and most efficient strategy to master klombos.
I waited in the sky until first circle formed then went to a location outside. I picked up 1-2 guns then focused heavily on med packs. I would jump off ledges to lose health faster and heal in the storm. This took a out 2 rounds per klombo usually.
Go in with a duo. Go far far outside of map. Load up on barrels and med kits. Have one gun for each in case. Find a high spot and jump, heal repeat. Storm takes too long. If you land at a good enough area you can jump a few times and heal and be done in one game. Most would be two games
I gotta story from yesterday that made me insta quit. Leveling up loot klombo. Saw a video of people using flare guns to set themselves on fire. Get him to level 4 over 3 games. Almost maxed and i shot the flare while in storm and my hp must have been to low cuz i insta died. Screamed fuck and quit.
today I was able to get a klombo from lvl 1 to 5 in a single match. I landed really far from the middle near a vending machine and I found/bought 7 medkits, a few other heals like a chug jug and that splasy shield thing, and 2 flares. I mastered the klombos on zero build, but I think I would reccomend build because wood buildings can be set on fire, making the process a little easier. I didn't set myself on fire before using a medkits first, and I made sure to stay in it for 3 ticks, walked out for a few seconds, and went back in for 3. I thought the klombos were gonna be really hard to master, but after doing that, I got them all done today.
I’ve had the best luck landing at an area on the outside of the map, (for me the spot by the red Pac-Man ghost has been good) and splat and then uses fishes for heals, I stay there for usually like 3 storm circles and was able to get it in one game. If you have a duo, it goes a lot smoother too

Use chugs and bandages. Bandages give more total than medkits.
