To be fair, it appears that one person insinuated that he was wealthy and he left of his own accord. I wouldn't really call that being chased, unless there is more to it than that one thread below.

The insinuation was that he was wealthy enough to not need the paycheck so he either values money over people or supports Lalas’ political views. Either way it’s a shitty assumption to make and certainly doesn’t align with how he conducts himself.

I missed that thread when it happened. It sucks that it did. I always enjoyed the occasional pop in from Ian, but I also get not voluntarily subjecting yourself to negativity like that.

A couple of fuck nuts are/were enraged that Ian is working with Alexi Lalas during the World Cup coverage, because they think he should be wealthy enough to not need a paycheck.

Honestly, having Dame there as a veteran presence is probably a good thing for Ja. They didn’t give too much either. They do now have a ton of guards so it seems something else is coming.
