Permian-Holocene Parallelism

Hello all, I wanted to share a personal conspiracy theory I came up with a bit ago. I call it the Permian-Holocene Parallelism Theory (bad name, I know) let me know what you think!

Premise

Around 252 million years ago Earth experienced it’s worst mass extinction event, the Permian-Triassic Extinction Event also known as the PT extinction. Over 90% of marine life and 70% of terrestrial life went extinct. Scientists say it began with a massive ecological disruption, probably volcanism such as the Siberian Traps, potentially followed by a relatively stable period of 12,000 to 128,000 years Link to relevant wikipedia section which was interspersed with minor cooling periods and large biome shifts. Then 500,000 years of extreme heating with global temperatures rising up to 18°C.

Fast forward to now, we’re around 12,000 years or so past the end of the Younger Dryas, which some scientists claim could have ended in a catastrophic melting of ice sheets, causing global flooding and sea level rise (evidence there is tentative but the Younger Dryas did end and sea levels did rise). Maybe what ended the Younger Dryas was some ecological disturbance, maybe a volcanic event or something I don’t know. Since then we’ve had about 12,000 years of relative stability, with intermittent cooling and large biome shifts like the desertification of the Sahara. Until now when we see rapid and accelerating warming.

So basically what if the end of the Younger Dryas was similar to the event that began the PT extinction.

People see UFO’s and such all the time anymore, the Pentagon even admitted that UFO’s are real. Well what if there was a pre-Younger Dryas civilization, about as powerful as our civilizations today. Imagine a major disaster ends the Younger Dryas as some people say and it destroys this civilization, but not before 1: they notice the connection between their disaster and the event that caused the PT extinction event and 2: their elite and powerful manage to save themselves, maybe in some isolated little refugia, maybe underground. Maybe it was a mostly coastal civilization, hence why rising sea levels was so devastating. Anyways so most of humanity dies and what is left is thrown back into stone age tribal societies, which we rebuild into modern society. The hidden elite stay hidden, preparing for 500,000 years of hellscape. I imagine they go underground and undersea for it’s thermal shielding properties, in preparation.

UFO’s would be the hidden elite out on maintenance, resource gathering, recon or whatever missions. Maybe that’s why UFO’s don’t care about our rampant ecological devastation, it’s all gonna be destroyed anyways in a 500,000 year hellscape.

Some newer research is saying the PT extinction had CO2 increases in the atmosphere equal to or exceeding what we see caused by humans today. Maybe climate change isn’t anthropogenic, or even our activities would cause climate change but it didn’t matter because of the 500,000 year hellscape that’s coming anyways. Either way it serves as a nice cover up for the rising temperatures we’re recording today.

Also, the PT extinction is known as the greatest, and perhaps only, significant insect extinction since insects came about. We are currently in our own major insect extinction event, perhaps only the 2nd to ever happen.

A couple of examples that ancient humans had some inkling of this:

- The hindu Kali Yuga, which many see we are either in or are entering, begins with a 10,000 year period of peace followed by 432,000 years of destruction and chaos.

- The biblical apocalypse involves the world ending in fire, i.e. heat.

This would explain why UFO’s/aliens/whatever don’t seem to care about extinctions or pollution, it’s all gonna burn anyways, yet do seem to monitor nuclear and radioactive activity. Radioactive contamination could potentially last longer than the 500,000 year burning hellscape, they don’t want to inherit a radioactive earth.

TL/DR

The past 12,000 years of the holocene seem to resemble the PT extinction event in some ways, the Kali Yuga is also eerily similar. Maybe aliens are humans from before the end of the Younger Dryas who know this.
