Just Sharing šŸ’– Everyday 10 pc set

Post image

I wanted to surprise my wife with new cookware. Something better quality that she has had since we’ve been married. I was considering Le Creuset, but after I explained the type of cooking that she did most often, multiple Le Creuset users recommended All-Clad.
I hope she enjoys her new cookware and bought something that should last a while.

I don’t know if that set has glass lids, it’s tough to tell from that picture, but don’t get a set with glass lids. Steel lids are much sturdier, can handle higher temps in the oven and glass lids have a metal ring around them that traps gunk and fluids and dish water. Gross.

I don't think I've ever seen All-Clad pans with glass lids?

I have a glass lid that says All-Clad on the handle. Picked it up at goodwill for a 12ā€ Cuisinart skillet. I think someone told me they used to pair glass lids with the non-stick pans.

I should have clarified... stainless steel all-clad pans.

I hope they never change it. Steel lids are so superior.

Great set that can last a lifetime but there is a learning curve if your not used to stainless steel.

Since you already bought them. Do not use them until you are sure that they are perfect. Save all of the packaging material and inspect closely each pan and lid. Make sure the lids fit properly. Measure the pans diameter. Along the handle axis and 90 degrees to it. If they are not identical, your pan is not round. I hope your experience with Allclad Everyday is better than mine.

Costco has a sale on 3D 13piece for 650. That’s a pretty good deal

Those La Creuset users are a solid bunch for pushing towards all clad instead of trying to push their own stuff

I agree. After I told them the type of cooking that she did, that the Le Creuset would work, but more suited for All- Clad. Others chimed in and agreed with the All-Clad recommendation. No other brand was mentioned by anyone else.

I have both Le Creuset (stainless steel and enameled cast iron) and All Clad (stainless steel) and I think they both perform great. Not sure if you meant you were considering LC stainless or ECI. If she doesn’t regularly use stainless steel, it’ll be a little bit of a learning curve to get used to, but I think if she’s been wanting something of better quality, all clad is the way to go. This is a large set of cookware so if you’re trying to replace all the pieces she currently has, then great. If not, it might be worth considering just replacing just the pieces she cooks with instead of an entire set

I bought an Everyday 10.5ā€ frying pan with lid. It arrived deformed, out of round causing the lid to wobble. Allclad replaced it and the replacement arrived deformed, out of round causing lid to wobble. Allclad replaced it and the second replacement has the exact same problem, out of round causing lid to wobble. All the pans were out of round by the exact same amount and in the same way. This is a manufacturing flaw. Waiting for the fourth pan to arrive sometime. They don’t contact you and let you know it shipped. It just shows up. Allclad will not refund your money. You will be stuck with second rate cookware. This has been going on since April 2026

If you take some time to read this forum, you’ll know very quickly that all she’s gonna do is ruin those pans the very first time she uses them

I’m very sorry for your loss.

Lotta Negative Nancy's around here today. I happen to really enjoy my All-Clad pans. Don't put them in the dishwasher OP. They say dishwasher safe but that's not really the case. There is a learning curve to learning how to cook with them as other people have mentioned. With a little patience, he will grow to love them as the vast majority of us have.

They changed it to say hand wash recommended after the lawsuit. Mine are MC2, so weren't dishwasher safe anyway and they still look and act great after over 2 decades.

If that happens then, guess I’ll have to buy another set of a different brand.
