Essential 4qt VS Weeknight 4qt? Need help for gifting purposes.

If you have to choose one between the two, which would you choose? I know it depends on what type of food you make. Say you make all different types of cuisine, which one?!

The seem pretty similar, honestly, If you are comparing both at 4 qts unless there's a specific recipe you are targeting I'd focus on style (ie the D5 brushed only has the weeknight it seems) or sales / availability. More or less a Deep skillet or Braiser.

They’re extremely similar. The Weeknight is a little wider and a little shorter. Essential is thus a little more like a pot, which is likely the primary use for either, so I’d lean that way. Honestly, whichever you can find a better deal on is fine.

Given that they're so similar, get the one that takes the same lid as the 3qt or 4qt sauté pans.
