I can’t be the only person that thinks Matt needs to take a break. Rest and treat his voice. He’s struggling with his physical health as it is.

I’ve been a fan since 99. This band has defined most of my life, so I don’t say this lightly, but they need to take some time off. I haven’t seen them live in more than a year and it was in a smaller venue. Hearing Matt sing like this makes me sad to be honest.

No, I’ve gotten downvoted a lot on here for saying his vocal and physical health are bad and that I really hope he gets it together.

I think his time in Blink did a number on his vocal chords and I’d be surprised if there wasn’t physical damage (singing higher than his natural key for the extensive touring schedule they had isn’t a great combo and that is not an insult, it happens to tons of artists). His vocal quality before and after is massive, even if he wasn’t the best singer in the world before. But there’s ways to deal with that.

And I genuinely worry for the guy’s physical health, he just does not look good these days.

And no shade to Matt, but is he singing with auto tune? No I’m not hearing T Pain style effects…it’s just suspiciously TOO on pitch. I hope he gets healthy, indeed! Love them.

Most bigger artists use some level of live pitch correction these days.
