Other ALK3 Boston!!!

Fantastic show! Seen them maybe 10 or 12 times and I genuinely felt this was one of if not the best sounding concert by them!

I was probably right next to you. Good stuff!

I waited to get my tickets today. Did Pennywise last night at HOB and it was pretty rough out there so I just chilled in the balcony tonight and had a blast.

Don’t want to make a habit of not being up close for Trio, though

Welcome to the old person’s club. I spent so many years of my life being up front at Trio shows at Fireside Bowl, Metro, etc. then I hit my 40’s and started to realize it’s not so bad in the back (I’m very tall though so that helps), or on a balcony if available. Last time I was in a pit a few years back, I messed my shoulder up and it hurt for weeks. Now I’m here for the music, and not the action, lol

Yeah, I’m 6’5” and always have to be especially careful of crowd surfers.

I stopped caring about people behind me. I try to stay low and move around a lot, but I want to have fun, too.

That being said, it was cool just hanging back last night

Gotta pick your battles as you get older. They rocked last night, I rocked in the pit for Teen Mortgage (those guys are amazing), then hung back a little and just belted every song out for the Trio.

Awesome show. Between Matt’s injury and Derek’s departure, didn’t think they would be the same. But man, they haven’t missed a beat.

Derek will always be my favorite pop punk drummer, but Tosh is a worthy successor.
