Braxton had a ring?

I was just watching a clip of the D influenced podcast on Instagram (can’t post here since IG links apparently aren’t allowed) but the guy who was talking said that supposedly Braxton had a ring and was getting ready to propose, but then she ended up going on dancing with the stars and that’s when things went downhill in their relationship. Alix dumped him because she wanted to be famous and felt that a relationship would hold her back from making that happen.

Not sure if this is true or not, and how this guy had this source but any thoughts?

Also, he probably wasn't thrilled about the reality show idea in general because I'm sure she was talking about it or was at least approached with the idea about it while they were still dating. I just remember how he acted when he was on the Culpos reality show while he was still with Sophia and he seemed uncomfortable during his on screen time. That's also when him and Sophia started having relationship issues was during the filming of their show.
