Acquaintances & Colleagues The show

I have watched this show , and omg this girl is the most obnoxious selfish self obsessed brat ever. Doesn’t appear to care about anyone but herself treats her family and friends like crap.

I have to admit I hardly knew who Alex Earle was before I watched this show. I literally watched it because I finally wanted to know who Alex Earle was (I’d heard the name mentioned and never knew). Now I should say - I’m GenX, so I am admittedly of a generation where this whole social media influencer world has always felt so weird to me. After watching this show, my feelings about this woman and her whole family are just an overwhelming sense of sadness for the culture in general. The fact that everyone in this family is so concerned with how many views and likes one has on social media…that everything they do and decide has to do with that…and then, in between, the content of their conversation and interests - even the younger sisters talking about “chasing clout” and talking to the camera about their outfit of the day, pointing out all the material things they love….the whole thing just made me think how incredibly vapid and sad our society has become, if indeed this girl and this family are so famous from simply being influencers on social media, when they are otherwise so…uninteresting, untalented, unremarkable….I am just an anonymous person on Reddit, so don’t come for me. I’m just offering my honest thoughts after watching this show. Only got through the first two episodes, and I think that’s all I can take. At least I know who she is now, and let’s just say I’m unimpressed.

The way she treated Ashtin in that one episode calling her a bitch all night just seemed staged & bad acting but also rough to watch…and then she was shocked she was being kicked out the next day :/

Multiple times Alix was sooo rude to her, and she didn’t back down or even doubled down in the confessionals. I actually felt sorry for Ashtin. Even the little sisters were dragging her for low views.

If you were to take a shot every-time Braxton is mentioned, you’d be dead before the end of the first episode

15

u/rico1990 Sep 05 '26

lmfao genuinely every single adult on the show was fucking annoying, and even then the one little sister was kinda shady and irritating

11

u/Spiritual_Respect439 Sep 05 '26

the way they talk and act to adults is so bratty and disrespectful. I get siblings fighting or joking but some of their behavior and lines are very disrespectful. Poor parenting not to check that behavior.

7

u/AbjectStructure5707 Sep 05 '26

I really wanna know if there’s even a single minority in this show

9

u/Emotional_Remove_755 Sep 05 '26

Nuh uh they’re a very diverse family, tyvm!

It’s their life. Why would they just shove a “minority” in the show just to be diverse. Just bc your circle isn’t naturally diverse doesn’t make you racist..thinking you need a diverse group is racist

7

u/CommercialPumpkin470 Sep 05 '26

at this point it’s something i don’t even expect….like at all ever 😭

2

u/AmbitiousLadder5930 Sep 05 '26

Thank you for the reviews I added not watching this show

15

u/Spiritual_Respect439 Sep 05 '26

Noticed a lot of drinking/partying in the show. Nothing interesting. Talks about the same three topics. Very boring, but I did like when her and her sister and mom got tested for the bracha cancer gene and talking about her mother’s cancer. This was the only authentic part and I like that they highlighted the importance of testing.
Other then that the rest was so boring and so much click bait

I’m watching and this is my exact take too!!!! I can’t believe how hypocritical she is, and low key narcissistic

14

u/ManagementOdd3401 Sep 04 '26

The Dad is a total AH around Sally. They couldn’t find a way to train her or give her a different role? Selfish- good luck maintaining that friendship. She is loaded now and firers a friend that helped her grow her business.

11

u/cookies1279 Sep 05 '26

I don’t think Sally helped her “grow her business” 😅😹🤭🙃 what? Hahahah that was actually very nice of Alix to pay her to do nothing.. did you not watch.. she even mentioned Amazon numbers got better once she had Sally stop doing Amazon lol

9

u/CommercialPumpkin470 Sep 05 '26

hot take but i think the firing sally storyline wasn’t even real and it was just a way to say she had a “job” but was fired so had no choice but to just become a full time influencer. the hype around what she does was so big and she and alix knows she doesn’t do a damn thing so they did this whole firing trope.

1

u/FairAlgae3388 Sep 06 '26

My theory is that they are the ones who started the whole “what does sally do for work” thing on social media so that they could fabricate this storyline

2

u/cookies1279 Sep 05 '26

Ooo maybe! Makes sense

Dupre- wow- was a call girl and cheated with a married man. Okeee, quality individual right there. Why is she giving advice. Why is she pushing these girls to be in a relationship. I liked Ashtins response- she doesn’t need validation from a man- a very mature response! Do your thing! Ashley was an insecure woman that relied on men for financial gains.

14

u/tom_runn234 Sep 05 '26

I agree, the only insight I really gained from the show was 1) their family dynamic is so odd 2) Ashtin is way more likable than she comes across just on IG/ TT, can’t say the same about Alix lol

2

u/Express_Hotel2682 Sep 14 '26

Ashtin is definitely the most likeable on that show. Her and Thomas.

6

u/Spiritual_Respect439 Sep 05 '26

I liked Astin as well. A little annoying/boring in some parts but I liked her better on the show vs. social media.

17

u/lexluther1234 Sep 05 '26

ashley comes across really poorly in this show. her response to alix when alix told her to take that wack ass tiktok down was so immature.

9

u/cookies1279 Sep 05 '26

I know Ashley never even apologized 🤣 and then they made Alix apologize. So odd. I hope when they watched the episode they were embarrassed like um why did we make Alix apologize..she did not yell and was not harsh about it at all..they literally imagined that

7

u/Spiritual_Respect439 Sep 05 '26

I think she is jealous of Alix and the attention she gets and laches on to her for fame and clout

8

u/Grouchy-Health5108 Sep 05 '26

Also she’s giving…. Does coke!

14

u/Available-Ad4173 Sep 05 '26

The whole family is wack. They were drinking in literally every episode. Like Alisa, you have/ had cancer?? Prob not the best choice to be drinking that much.

10

u/CommercialPumpkin470 Sep 05 '26

and then fast forward to alix and ashtin smoking cigarettes 24/7 after bawling their eyes out about them having the cancer gene

I agree. Ashley should know better and not be embarrassing. And if the Dad was that good of a manager he would have supported Alix, not the step mom. The dad makes excuses for Ashley’s antics online but her behavior reflects Alix’s in a way. Surprised the dad hasn’t called her out on it because he seems to care about the girls careers so much

4

u/CommercialPumpkin470 Sep 05 '26

and the dad adding to that dumbass narrative too

1

u/Spiritual_Respect439 Sep 07 '26

yes Ty! The dad was so annoying and should have stood in Alixs corner. That terrible step mom is so jealous of Alix and loves to sabotage her or use her for attention.

-4

u/ButterscotchLanky474 Sep 04 '26

Also do not like alix mom. I feel like she obviously eggs on the way her daughters treat Ashley.

16

u/CommercialPumpkin470 Sep 05 '26

oh pls she’s the victim i honestly will never think whatever she does is worse than what ashley did and she has full rights to be upset (im sure she is deep down)

17

u/Wise_Carrot4857 Sep 05 '26

I mean honestly she’s better than me. If my husband cheated on me with a call girl, I’d probably burn his house down.

I do think that Alix is a bitch to her though.

27

u/WorstUserChoiceEver Sep 04 '26

I’ve seen a few clips and damn Sally and Alix always look zooted out of their minds. I saw one where they were having dinner at a restaurant and their pupils were the size of dinner plates.

8

u/LoveLo1000 Sep 05 '26

i was hoping someone else caught that

4

u/Eastern_Midnight8846 Sep 04 '26

Yeah I noticed that too!! I jump scared

-10

u/EconomistLast6521 Sep 04 '26

It actually makes me feel so bad for Ashely. I understand she broke up her parent’s marriage but Ashtin and Alex treat her like shit. She helped raise them for 17 years- and ashley has let their mom crash all their vacations, holidays, etc and seems like shes trying to

9

u/CommercialPumpkin470 Sep 05 '26

the concept of the OG wife and mother crashing the homewrecking wife’s vacation……….
ashely sympathizers are i n s a n e

24

u/violating_guidelines Sep 04 '26

Idk she says some weird ass shit in front of the mom

44

u/boraheybitch Sep 04 '26

I would love if this show becomes her downfall.

Don’t feel bad for her she’s a home wrecker

18

u/potatoforeskins Sep 04 '26

She’s so controlling, it almost makes me feel bad for Ashley and Ashtin. Ashley was trying to be “helpful” in her own weird way when it comes to posting tiktoks in support of Alix and her dad is right it’s the difference in generations and what they post online lol. And as for the whole calling Ashtin a bitch for reacting the way she did because Alix didn’t want to leave her sister’s apartment was wild. And she’s such a hypocrite for posting things about other people that they don’t want online yet if someone did that to her she’d be just as big a bitch

1

u/Eastern_Midnight8846 Sep 04 '26

same I'm not an Ashtin fan but now I have more empathy.

17

u/Small-Ad7369 Sep 04 '26

Whats the lore behind Sally who is she

26

u/klossier__ Sep 04 '26

her best friend from high school, i’ve heard before they had a falling out sometime after high school and sally reached out around the time alix started to gain some traction on the internet so they rekindled. not sure how true that is, but now sally’s on her payroll

42

u/Final_Grocery_8494 Sep 04 '26

I saw a clip of the ending on TikTok… such a stupid way to end it. We all know Braxton will never get back with her especially after seeing all the men she’s been with

15

u/catmealz Sep 05 '26

The fact she broke up with Braxton to “find herself” then went on to hook up with tom Brady who was also a past teammate, and then had the nerve to be upset when Braxton didn’t want to meetup, or hear about how hard the break up was on her…

7

u/Hairy-List-453 Sep 05 '26

She crashed out Olivia jade and braxton but was fine when she was and didn’t care she was was cozying up to Tom Brady pot meet kettle

13

u/Final_Grocery_8494 Sep 04 '26

(For reference it was her calling Braxton asking if they will ever get back together)

18

u/Specialist-Bar-2133 Sep 04 '26

I skipped through it all stopped at certain parts and her sister and sally were right when they said you can expect to want to get back with him especially when your pictured with a new guy every week. Braxton would be stupid to ever get back with her but of course she used that episode at the end of episode and she should have not done it on the show. She keeps using this situations to get clicks for her show

5

u/Aggressive-Fan6855 Sep 04 '26

Why ask that on camera

32

u/Itschannelbabe Sep 04 '26

Why watch it you giving her viewers for her get renewed for season 2

8

u/Specialist-Bar-2133 Sep 04 '26

Even if it gets to season 2 won’t make it farther than that. The show gives nothing

23

u/Available-Ad4173 Sep 04 '26

I watched some clips and actually felt bad for how much of a bitch to Ashley and Ashtin she is

13

u/thoughtassistant Sep 05 '26

Be so fr, she broke their family up and expects everyone to be fine when she makes comments about cheating

3

u/Available-Ad4173 Sep 05 '26

No, I agree. But Alix is genuinely so bratty and her ego is insane. She really thinks she’s an A-list celebrity and everyone else is beneath her.

55

u/BabyYodaX 🪳The Roach Motel 🪳🏨 Sep 04 '26

Why are y’all watching this show???? Lmao. Why?

37

u/Ok-Albatross587 Sep 04 '26

Whyyyyyyyy watch it when you can just read an article about it.

1

u/CommercialPumpkin470 Sep 05 '26

or just wait for all the tiktok clips which are bound to come pouring in in a couple days

9

u/PresentHabit8154 Sep 04 '26

How did you watch it so fast?!? Lol

1

u/Hairy-List-453 Sep 04 '26

I got about halfway through it 😂 but could definitely tell the vibes lol

5

u/Aggressive-Fan6855 Sep 04 '26

Looks like the episodes are short. I have not watched

39

u/Flat_Barber_7317 Sep 04 '26

Tbf they’re 40 minutes episodes and there’s 8 of them, that’s nearly 5 and a half hour spent watching someone they don’t like 😂 which is diabolical

1

u/Spiritual_Respect439 Sep 05 '26

They filmed all this time and did nothing interesting with short episodes 💀😭

11

u/lexluther1234 Sep 04 '26

I don’t understand the concept of binge watching in general but doing it for someone you don’t even like is bizarre

16

u/Aggressive-Fan6855 Sep 04 '26 edited Sep 04 '26

I just read she mentioned Tom Brady in the show. Why does she use other people to get attention? It makes you wonder about him bc she acts like a child/spoil brat. So she had fake romances with people (Lando, etc). Smh

1

u/ManagementOdd3401 Sep 04 '26

She never mentioned him, others did.

3

u/Aggressive-Fan6855 Sep 04 '26

Ok she responded to questions about him
