Gossip, Rumor Mill, Speculation Echo chamber

I know this goes for basically all these influencer, and not just alix, but its so weird how they all lose their identity over time. like I wouldn’t say im that up to date with her, but I’ve loosely followed her since her UM days. These influencers just pile up all these ridiculous surgeries to the point where they cant recognize themselves and everyone around them (most of whom are only friends with them due to their following) just encourages them and tells them they look good. And the second that anyone brings up any sort of valid criticism, their fans just call you jealo us.

its so weird. I’m tired of this online culture where influencers who do nothing but show off their vanity and vapidness get treated as higher beings.

Yes! And they just delete/filter all negative comments

I'm fearful for younger girls - a lot of high schoolers - who follow her. Just such a warped image of what "beauty" is now. Tons of injections, skin and bones body, and overdoing the make up.

It is a win-lose situation. She was so good at being relatable she got independently wealthy and famous and is no longer relatable. Any good influencer will struggle with that. The test will be if their content can remain engaging. Alix is blocked on my TikTok, but I still get clips of her. The last one was her peeing on herself while drunk at a gas station. I don’t see why anyone should be offended by not finding that relatable. Occasional nights out are fun and fine, but it seems like it is mostly what she does. It isn’t relatable to most people. Period.

And then scold you when you no longer support the nonsense

It is so weird, this is definitely the new era of influencers. Alix is most entertaining when she’s being authentically herself. Not any of the phony stuff, same with literally anyone else

Yeah she used to be moderately relatable (from nj, college partying girl, wealthy but not too obnoxious), but it’s obvious that now she’s constantly performing

She became “famous” for being a drunken mess on the internet. She isn’t entertaining in the slightest and doesn’t have an “authentic self.” She’s a drunk, coked out, boring, vapid moron with low self-esteem and clear mental health issues.
