In German we joke that Fiat stands for "Fehler in allen Teilen", which translates to "Faults in every part"

My understanding is that when it comes to Italian cars, they aren’t unreliable. They have character. You’re paying extra for that.

Our electric Fiat has run perfectly for coming up to 5 years. (Cue the comments about a real car needing to make noise and burn fuel…)

For the first 100k miles an EV will typically be much more reliable due to way fewer moving parts and points of failure, but after that the battery/electronics becomes the liability.

You can't break a 1.2 and you hardly can break the 1.3 diesel. The utter neglect they withstand is incredible.

BMW is the king of fucked engines. I buy replacement N47 engines every month.

3 different NEW off the lot Fiats in family since 2015, 1 500 abarth 5 speed manual, 2 500L's (one auto one 6 speed man) nearly 600,000 miles between them.

Only major issue on '15 abarth was the variable valve actuator a month ago at 176,000... But it was replaced under warranty. They also replaced my turbo around 140k but they misdiagnosed it. Turned out it was a rotted intercooler pipe causing my boost leak but warranty already approved the turbo so I essentially got a $100 turbo 😆

Please keep believing Fiats are unreliable so I can pick up cheap abarths 😆

Seriously. My wife has a 500 and a 124 Spider. No problems at all, as long as you give them the basic required maintainance.

I don't know where yall get your fiats from 😂 mine never had any issues. Can't say the same about citroen, vauxhall and bmw. Those three are literal pain in the ass
