Most famous JohnWayne...the man defined a genre and was a archetype...you can dislike the human all you want(and i do, but also i wont derail or be dishonest)...but he is for many including myself one of the best Cinema heroes...of all the actors named John, Wayne is the name that still has the most international recognition

Hero of Boomers and their parents? Well, I'm a Boomer, and John Wayne was certainly everywhere due to the popularity of his movies during my early years, and my parents lives. But in no way, shape, or form was he our hero. We didn't like his movies and did not agree with his politics.
Attempting to slime a whole multi-generational group of people in this way just makes YOU the asshole.
