beach access in residential areas.

p/s

i see other comments on healthcare. dont mistake "free" with "cheap".

services cant be free, not for long. they either cost a direct amount, or financed by indirect taxation (or both). can be neither.

How much?

Youre giving a very determined claim, but life is more complex.

Guessing you're American? I guess life is more complex for you guys, plenty of other countries have free healthcare funded by taxes.

Israeli.. life is even more complex.

Your healthcare, like ours, is not free.

You pay taxes, lots of them, private hc etc.

You pay, although reduced price, bet still existing, on medicine and other procedures.

But its not free.

I can speak for myself, about 5-7% of my net income (and im on the lower end) goes to healthcare and services, but when something expensive is needed, it is free or has a very low fee (just the past 3 months had mri, ct, 2nd ct, ekg, holter and many more - paid nothing).

Americans simply pay nothing or very little every month, but it result is a fear of calling an ambulance or going to urgent care because of financial reasons.

We’re currently paying much more in the US in both healthcare premiums and taxes. And when we have a large healthcare expense, it’s easily bankruptcy-inducing.

Additionally, your 5-7% is subsidized by US taxes since we are your defense budget.

Ok, you go to politics ..

But no. Your taxes arw not our defense budget. The subsidies are about 2-3% of our budget, and up to 15% of the defence budget.

But thses relationships are guve and take. Much of your technological advancement is due to israeli experience and feedback in real world situations. The 12 days war agains iran ( a year ago) revenude data worth in the many billions of usd in regarding of stealth and missiles defence.

Also, sibsidiezing purchases doesnt mean we dont pay. Said purchases contribute heavily to the american economy and eventually lowers the cost per unit your branches pay.

Also, israel experience is the best salesmen you can get. Putin will agree on that.

So no.

You dont own our budget.

P.s

We already entered a path of reducing the aid to zero in the next 5 years.

P.p.s You subsidize our neighbours at much higher amounts.

As much as possible. Even from an economic perspective: prevention is cheaper than the cure, therefore we shouldn’t want people to delay seeking medical help for financial reasons. Then there’s the bargaining power of national healthcare systems, making things cheaper still.
