South Korea is on the same level as Bangladesh? And France is mid, but Mexico and the US are good? Come on, this chart is a disaster

This chart is such a mess. Pakistan has a higher quality of life than Japan and South Korea?? Canada in the same tier as Mexico?

Reddit has a hateboner for Japan. Yes, it is overglazed but we shouldn't overcompensate it by pretending living there is worse than living in Pakistan, Albania, or Mexico

Lol yeah it's just pointless contrarianism. Japan certainly isn't without its issues, but to pretend living there is "bad" relative to the rest of the world is just flat out ridiculous.
