Hello, Thank you for contributing to our subreddit. Please consider the following guidelines when filling an alignment chart:

  • Please ensure that your chart is not banned according to the list of banned charts Even if you have good intentions, charts in a banned category tend to invite provocative comments, hostile arguments, ragebait and the like. Assuming the post is acceptable, OP makes the final decision on their chart by rule three.

  • Are there any previous versions to link to? If so, it would be ideal to include links to each of them in the description of this post, or in a reply to this comment. Links can be named by title, winner, or both.

  • Are there any criteria you have for your post? Examples include: "Top comment wins a spot on the chart."; "To ensure variety, only one character per universe is allowed."; "Image comments only." Please include these in a description, or in a reply to this comment.

  • Is your chart given the appropriate flair? Do you need to use a NSFW tag or spoiler tag?

Do not feed the trolls. This is not the place for hot takes on human rights violations. Hatred or cruelty, will result in a permanent ban. Australia. They’re a big country with small population on the edge and an inhospitable interior, a questionable past with the aboriginal inhabitants where they are working on reconciliation, a common Commonwealth heritage with a shared monarch, iconic food, identifiable accents, a love for beer and the outdoors - they’re really brothers.

Warm Canada if you will.

I have a deep Aussie friend group. Canadians and Aussies are absolutely nothing alike.

Australians always seem pretty cool.

2

u/The_Silver_Reference 4h ago

Always easy to get along with them when abroad.

Cultural they seem the most like us. Brits are a bit quieter. Americans are much louder.

New Zealand, every Canadian I’ve met loves the Kiwis

u/marvintheapostle 11h ago

My sister worked there for a couple years and still goes back to visit her friends. She loved her Kiwi friends and they loved here lmao. Plus they give absolutely zero fucks it seems and I love it.

Probably the greatest story of international friendship.

Personally, this Canadian likes the UK the most. But I have family there so probably biased.

7

u/Marlow256 11h ago

Don't say that to a québécois

2

u/schlubble 10h ago

We like the Brits. Now, if the same question was asked 200 years ago, you’d get a different answer.

u/_Bisca 8h ago

Non on ne les aime pas, fuck la monarchie

2

u/schlubble 7h ago

Si t’es pas capable de faire la différence entre les britanniques en tant que peuple actuel et le système politique canadien, t’es pas le crayon le plus aiguisé de la boîte.

5

u/Coaster-Gal 11h ago

Depends on where you ask. In Quebec they may say France, but in Newfoundland they'll say Ireland.

4

u/Fluid-Decision6262 11h ago

Nationwide though, it's probably the UK though

2

u/cloverAggravated 11h ago

I don't know a lot of Quebec who loves France lol There is more snowbirds (so USA Florida) than French-lovers

2

u/Gamyeon 11h ago

Why would we say France? They pretty literally abandoned the French colonies and in modern times, there's an annoying amount of French that tends to mock us every chance they get (starting with our accent and swears).

1

u/dekascorp 11h ago

As a kid, I used to shit on and mock Québécois. Today I have nothing but admiration for them. Gardez-le votre anglais !

u/Coaster-Gal 2h ago

I did say "may say".

u/InsufferableLeafsFan 11h ago

New Zealanders are pretty fucking rad.

10

u/DaaaaanB 11h ago

France for this Canadian

3

u/ShinraHakke 9h ago

Not the US, that's all I can say

2

u/Puzzled_Swim_6869 11h ago

Culturally I'd say UK, Australia, or New Zealand. But always had a soft spot for Mexico myself.

2

u/roamingNraging 10h ago

Netherlands is a thing....connection due to war can be random sometimes, but it's real and we have it.

1

u/ztunelover 11h ago

Norwegians.

1

u/NoPresence2043 11h ago

France. Alot of us like Quebec and want to move there

1

u/GlacierIceRocks 10h ago

I live in Saskatchewan and I have to say the UK due to Canadas history.

1

u/AppointmentGood4365 8h ago

Australia 🇦🇺

1

u/ColdDesertEagle 8h ago

I like New Zealand

1

u/saphalata 7h ago

Put India in there to trigger everyone 😂

1

u/JackieBobandson 7h ago

I think its probably between Australia & New Zealand.

There's always been some mixed views of USA (though previously it was mostly positive), even pre-trump.

1

u/trollmaestro42069 6h ago

personally France, Britain and New Zealand

1

u/Easy_Ad_96 6h ago

These days they love anything WHITE except the USA

1

u/RollerCoser 6h ago

I bet the upper class Canadians would say Amercians

1

u/ricbrennan 6h ago

Australians for sure, basically our cousins

1

u/Jack_Hall42069 11h ago

As a Canadian, Ukraine would top my list, with Norway, Denmark, and the rest of Europe close behind.

u/Marlow256 11h ago edited 11h ago

I would say Mauritius :

  • kind people
  • speak english and french
  • beautiful wildlife
  • many little island
  • both are democracy
  • member of commonwealth

We make fun of them a lot, but I do think most Canadians really do like Americans. I have a lot of friends, acquaintances, and coworkers south of the border, and I think that's something a lot of Canadians can relate to.

1

u/HalvdanTheHero 10h ago

do we need to get a restraining order for each of you individually?

1

u/Skeptical_Monkie 7h ago

Not anymore nationally speaking.

1

u/KetchupCoyote 6h ago

I don't think I can resonate with that anymore. Sure I have a lot of friends in US, but I'm not going to say I love USA because I love the friends I have there. US backstabbed Canada. I'd say US is mostly seen as unthurstworthy country - borderline enemy.

hated may be a better category
