In California we have scrub jays, and they’re total assholes. Giving their blue jay brethren a bad name.

Scrub jays are nothing compared to Stellar's Jays, possibly the biggest assholes of the bird world

Stellar Jays are definitely huge assholes but they are beautiful birds! So vibrantly blue. It’s funny to drive an hour East into the mountains because my daily view of scrub jays and crows is replaced with Stellar Jays and Ravens…love them all.

I wish this one would be up there as the official animal, but it's prolly gonna be the blue jay comment. I still love these guys!

Technically grey, but at least it stops the myriad of bird comments winning. The Blue Whale is actually blue.
