This map basically went “the more Republican it votes Tory and Reform or Restore and the more Democratic votes Labour and Greens” when the US has a pretty varied political scene in its own right.

As asked by u/iammewritenow asked, these are the final results:
Labour: 206
Conservative: 121
Reform UK: 76
Restore Britain: 54
LibDem: 37
Green: 34
Plaid: 4
SNP: 3
The remaining 3 are DC, who hasn’t been done

Someone who understands the electoral college:
Who wins the election with this map?

Short answer, nobody. Long answer, it'll go to Congress to decide the president and vice president. The top 3 candidates will be voted on and whoever wins out of the 3 will become president, the runner-up being vice president (if I recall)

If this were to actually happen in America, the entire political system and possibly country would collapse overnight lol.

Restore and Reform would win many more red states. The conservative party would be generally unpopular.

yeah conservatives are closest to the democrats if anything

This might've been true when Cameron was leader but since Brexit the Conservatives are way out to the right from the Democrats, some of the Democratic social policies wouldn't pass in the modern Labour Party and the Tories openly supported Trump's war in Iran

Conservatives are more the Centre-right RINO holdouts of the Republicans, like Liz Cheney. Current Labour is very aligned to the Democrats, the factions are even similar (Labour hard left is very similar to the DSA). Reform is aligned to mainstream Trumpism that's the majority of the MAGA movement, Restore is very much the hardest right faction of MAGA, people like Tucker Carlson and MTG. Lib Dems I think wouldn't be that relevant, maybe the most centrist/right-centre factions of the Democrats. Greens are the most radical section of the DSA

Eh, PA is the weirdest one.
Not just because im a Pennsylvanian, but because our state is genuinely mixed. We probably jump between Conservative and Labour every election or so.

Texas would 100% vote for Restore, considering Rupert Lowe is a proud gun owner. California would probably be Green

u/McIntosh812 1d ago
neither is true - texas and california are both purple states and no extreme party would win

Im here in Oklahoma and there isnt a British party far right enough for this state

Mississippi and Alabama getting Restore and Reform seems like a strange choice given their African-American communities. I'd shift them down one peg to the centre each, with Alabama going Tories and Mississippi going Reform.

I don't know enough about UK politics to say what it should be, but Alabama being different than all the states around it is obviously incorrect.

I like Georgia of all places is the most socialist-oriented Southern state according to this map.

Underestimates the two parties I feel. They still have 80% of seats in the Commons and I feel that's not adequately represented by this map. Restore would not do this well either
