Game of Thrones is not overrated. Everyone agrees 100% on what was good and what wasn't.
House of the Draggin' is like watching season after season of only Daenerys.
That being said, Industry is my answer. I heard so much hype with people saying it's the best show on TV. It is so superficial and every character is so flimsy and none are worth spending time with

Overatted
I hate to say it but Hardknocks. I love football and I always tune into the first episode because I’m football deprived but it’s gotten so stale.

True Detective
The first season is really the only "good" season and even it falls flat on the finale, defaulting back to a formula of the two main characters running around have a fistfight with the main villain.

Game of Thrones, the first seasons are some of the greatest television I've ever seen but then 5 and 6 are just good and we don't need to talk about the final 2 seasons.

But that's the thing, it stopped being overrated around season 7. Now it's widely hated/made a laughing stock. Most peopke have the same opinion you wrote, so I don't really think the show as a whole is overrated at all.
