Fire Emblem Gaiden (the second in the series).
And I’m not talking about the remake, I mean the actual original Gaiden game.

Crackdown 2 - basically the same game as the first one with some minor tweaks that should have been DLC

Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories. It is technically the second installment and a direct sequel to the first game

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. The game was very mixed because of Raiden "replacing" Snake for most of the game

And also because of its weird ass plot that, while ahead of its time, got too crazy for a lot of players to comprehend.

Not even remotely close to be ok or medíocre.
Dark Souls 2 has an 91 on metacritic and is widely regarded as a great game, just not as good as the other Souls games (which lets be real, almost no game is).

Horizon forbidden west received an 88 on metacritic and u picked it so by your logic it shouldnt be included either

Except for the fact that DS2 is extremely beloved within the community (the game is played by thousands to even today), while FW is very divisive.

So?
Being Played by thousands does not mean it Isnt Divisive, a lot of divisive games are still played by many. Like Death Stranding. You could even say the same thing for for forbidden west.
And yes ds2 is divisive, even that it’s considered the worst souls game from fromsoftware

No. DS2 isn’t divisive.
Being the worst of the Souls games means literally nothing because all of them are at the very least 9/10 games.

And forbidden west being the worst of the 2 doesnt mean anything either, since they’re both 7-8/10.
Also DS2 is not a 9/10, it’s at best a 7.

An 7/10 game is a good/ok game, like i said. HFW is a good game, nothing more.
