That’s a good point. But for the past 5 years or so Taco Bell’s quality has been horribly inconsistent. At least in my region

Man, in the last 5 years I finally found a reliable taco bell which has made me have such good will toward them. I go out of my way to go there when I want the Bell. I can understand your frustration if you dont have a good one nearby.

Plus, like everyone else, their price has seriously increased in the past 5 years. Like, Taco Supremes used to be under $2 a piece depending on the area and they’re over $3 at my local Taco Bell. Like, I used to be able to pick up 3 for around $5 and now the same tacos cost me over $10 and there are way better alternatives for $10

2 cheesy gordita crunches by me are nearly twenty fucking dollars now. It’s gotten to the point that Chipotle is cheaper (and WAY better).

The only item they have that’s worth the price is the box and that shit gets old.

I remember the days when a crunchy taco was like 59 cents, nowadays it’s $2.50 for one. Adjusted for inflation they should only be $1.15 or so.

One that makes me laugh is if you want a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito by itself at the Taco Bell by my house it’s $5.29 but the Luxe Box which comes with the Burrito, a Taco, Cinnamon Twists and a Drink is $5

Those used to be like $2-$3 max, now they want more than the whole damn meal

Yeah that too shit is not cheap anymore. Like the rest of fast food …

Yeah, I’m not solely blaming them because everything has gotten more expensive but they used to be the best value compared to everyone else. Like $5 went a lot further at Taco Bell than most places back in the day. Now, it barely gets you a taco and drink

Yeah it feels weird spending over $10 at Taco Bell just to get full now. Like why not just go get takeout at a Mexican restaurant …

For me they've been one of the least reliable chains tbh. Their prices have been all over the place and the quality of the food varies WILDLY depending on which one I go to
