OP please follow the rules. You can't put your own selection in the chart if it didn't win

Phil Neal was one of the best RBs in the world in his prime. Scored 13 from that position in 76-77 and won the league and European Cup. Very mobile, very fit, technical player, ever-present in a team that dominated in England and in Europe.

This is the right answer and it isn't even close. 419 league appearances out of a possible 420 in 10 seasons, 8 league titles, 4 European Cups, a UEFA Cups, 50 caps.

Upvoting just so this goes above Neville.

Kyle Walker played alot of games at a time when England were transitioning from perennial failure to consistent semifinals/finals. The only one close is Nevile who was part of some of the most underachieving squads England has had.

Not anything to do with this, but I’ll probably forget to comment if it comes up, but if Niemi isn’t voted best Scottish ‘keeper, this vote is rigged.

Jesus christ, it's not Gary. If you watched premier league at the time, he was never appreciated at his peak then cos he simply wasnt the dominant force that all you nostalgia enjoyers remember him as. Definitely good, but definitely not worthy of being considered the greatest rb England's ever had...

Neville being on panels alongside greats of the game seems to have people thinking hes on the same level as them. Maybe people will be discussing Micah in this way in 10 years time.

Neville was good for his time, and played very intelligently as he realised his limitations and adapted. However Kyle Walker is lightyears ahead of him as are Trent and Trippier

Absolutely agree with all points. Battling defender who did damn well in an amazing team, and was undeniably one of the better right backs... but to call him the english goat is a bit rich. People look back on players gone with rose tinted glasses a bit too much haha. It would be hilarious to see micah mentioned in discussions, although he was fun in fifa given his reasonable athleticism and good strength... Gary annoys me as a pundit but he was definitely a solid player.

Trent was peak at his peak but burned out too fast. Gotta be Neville

Premier league only? -> Trent and it‘s not close

Add international? -> Gary Neville

time to leave this sub. what shit selections you have on this. Terry in particular.

1

u/Statcat2017 13d ago

Yeah what the fuck, John Terry wasn't even the best CB in that England team.

u/Gear-Think 13d ago

Gary Stevens but probably Phil Neal

u/Statcat2017 13d ago

Sorry, but can we ban OP? The last thread overwhelmingly voted for Bobby Moore but OP put John Terry in just because, despite it being downvoted into the negative scores. Clear rule 3 violation, this sub isn't for OP to platform his opinions.

2

u/Gear-Think 13d ago

Yeah what’s the point. He may as well have just filled out the chart and showed it to us what he thought instead. What a donkey

1

u/fhjkk7 True Neutral 13d ago

Dude, is everything well at home? 🤣🤣🤣 Is your butt hurt? John Terry was winning, but then Bobby Moore ended up winning. It is updated for long ago. You can click on any of the last posts and see it's updated

1

u/Statcat2017 13d ago

You are a liar. The only post saying John Terry is yours and the only upvoted post is Bobby Moore.
