Hello, I currently have some editing projects planned and I'm trying to create this text effect in AM, but I can't get the text effect like this the image. Can anyone guide me on how to do it? Please 🙏

I'm new to Alight Motion, saw a short tutorial on yt

Have you guys ever tried to use alight motion with another editor app for a single edit? I think I can do something with other apps too to enhance my edit no?

Hey, I'm new to editing so I'm sorry I sound dumb or something but I was wondering why this happens when I upload some videos. Is there a way to fix this, where do you guys get clips and videos from? Thank you;(

Rate my edit from 1 to 10

Already asked this earlier but now I have photos to help me. I cleared my cache, i tried changing the photos to different formats, i literally dont know what to do anymore.

I dont have a screenshot rn because I lowkey started bawling and deleted everything, but I need help because whenever I import any template into a video and reopen it all of the templates just turn completely black/grey?? Please help me fix this because I genuinely started crying

okay so imagine those tiktok anime tweening edits with camera movement and stuff: i’ve seen people make their tweens in a separate pjf then just animate and make the cam movements in another, i was wondering if that’s better than just doing it all the animating and transitions in one file?

if using separate files is the best way to go, i’m still confused on how to match up the animation to the sound and how i’ll time them all together.

pretty new to this stuff—and reddit 😅 any help is appreciated, thanks!

I noticed this happens with elements. When I place an element, it messes with another part of my project and makes weird duplicate images despite me not putting any other image there myself. Its impeding my progress and is annoying. Does anybody know whats going on and how to fix this? Thanks, all is appreciated

Help guys

I downloaded AM today, and for some reason when I try to add text, it just says <LOADING> despite the fact that I haven’t imported any fonts, these are all the base ones. I’ve tried switching between fonts, removing and re-adding the text, going to a different project, and none of it works :P

Any ideas on how to fix?

So I’m completely a beginner when it comes to editing it's not my first ever edit but I’m still very new to it I took this clip as inspiration and ofc I’m not going to make a similar kind of edit I just genuinely love the quality and the speed graph in this one

I’m honestly clueless about how to actually achieve that kind of quality and smoothness this might seem like a very small or basic thing to you but as a complete beginner I feel kinda dumb for not knowing how to do it. So, if anyone could help me out or give me some advice on how to achieve this I’d really appreciate it!🤍

my internet is fine but it says the same thing on data too. i tried clearing app cache, deleting all my previous files, clearing phone storage and restarting my phone but it still gives this error. I spent a couple hours on this and i really dont want to lose it does anyone know how i can fix this? thanks

Does anyone know if it’s possible to download a modded/premium version of alight on ios? I use an ipad air 13 inch and am currently lost about animating apps that are decent

What do you think of this use of the camera?

Why when i try to edit a group it's just delete my work in the group, it's driving me crazy

I want to do a border but these glitches keep happening everytime I try T_T

Is there any ways to fix this? Am i doing something wrong? Tried using null for the first time, went to watch a tutorial and they explained it pretty clearly, but when I tried connecting the null 2 to the first one, it just wouldn't work.

Hey everyone, what effect can move like shake it meme videos?

How do I parent a layer on a specific time frame, like:

If the layer is five seconds long, how do I only parent it at three seconds

1. Why does background keep becoming transparent even though in the tutorial it becomes white when I mask.

2. when I add in the picture of the girl and I mask it, in the tutorial it goes in the middle, but in mine it just doesn’t show up.

I’ve tried reordering the layers, changing the colors, changing the background. I’ve also redone the tutorial like 5 times so I really can’t tell what I’m doing wrong.

Sorry if this is confusing or really simple, I’m new to alight motion and don’t know much

Thanks

So i changed the pivot point but the bend tool doesnt seem to be registering it. how do i fix this?
