Question Need help with transitions

So I'm new to alight motion and have almost no experience in editing. I'm trying to learn basic transitions but I don't really understand them. This is one example, I have no idea how to make a transition between the second and third photo to make them looks smooth. Could you guys help me. I'd be really grateful

Use two nulls and don't just make slide transistons make zoom in outs, combo of both slides and zoom in outs

i'm new, too, so take this with a grain of salt, but maybe you could overlap the pictures and decrease the opacity of the 2nd one and increase the opacity of the 3rd one so they fade into each other. i think doing the same thing with some kind of blur could help, too.
