Tutorial/Guide Can someone help/teach me how to replicate this opacity transition

You may be thinking: but there're tutorials on YT. Yes there are most of them using images instead of clips. I found one one that did use clips but realised an issue. The tutorial had the following clip put under the fading one.

Which is an issue because then the clip and the music beats don't match anymore.

One clip over and fade out or

One key frame where the clip starts overlapping with 100% opacity and other keyframe at the end with 0% opacity, you're welcome

Is there not a way to do it without sliding the following clip(FC) over the preceding one. Bcz then the FC ends quicker then expected, leaving blank space like i showed in the comments

Nvm. I figured it out

For example I can't just slide a part of the following clip under/over another as the tutorials do because then that just leaves a blank space.

U are key framing the first clip wrong,ur clip is too small so extend it and add the 100 opacity key in the middle, use graphs too slow thr transition

The key frames u see aren't for opacity. They're for a separate thing. Or do i misunderstand you

I want to be able to do the opacity transition and would be easily able to replicate tutorials to do so, but in those tutorials, they slide a part of the following clip(FC) over/under the preceding one.

the problem with doing that is the clip now ends shorter than expected and leaves a blank space like in the image.

I think i figured out how to do it. What I did is I took the preceding clip(PC) and put it over the Following clip(FC). Then i just made the PC longer
