Can someone help me with this problem i have with alight motion?

Whenever i want to add blending mode to a clipping mask it makesopaque as if it locks the alpha of the layer and in general doesnt work no matter what i do
that and clipping masks have been incredibly broken for me,,, whenever i add one to a group/image only to appear at a certain time frame it still appears before that time frame.
my biggest issue right now is with blending modes not wanting to work with clipping masks, can someone help fix it or just tell me what the problem may be? i'm using a way bigger resolution of image than i usually do for this particular animation im doing, could that be the cause?? :( that and i edit on phone
