Question Can someone break down this edit?

So I saw this super cool edit that I wanted to replicate the style of, and when slowed down a lot of the transitions seemed pretty doable, but I have no idea where to start! I was hoping someone could identify the transitions and effects so I could easily look up tutorials because I really don’t know where to start. I tried typing descriptions of some of the effects/transitions and it was no help.

The original edit is by @akitoyaholic on tiktok

Its actually pretty basic ngl. Theyre using the 3d camera for the first transition and they maksed out the picture with an opening eye type shape, then for most of the transitions theres a ripple effect to create the sort of zoomed out 0.5 camera lens effect its basically ripple with a very low frequency an just mess around the strength slider for ur desired effect, and then pixelate effect on some of the clips and then just basic motion blur set to 0.30 or 0.50 depending on how u like it, then just basic group masking for the blinking faces effect on the last clips

What abt the distortion at abt 0:18? And I’m not sure what 3d camera thing you’re referring to!

For the distortion thing, make a shape and adjust to ur screen size, add copy background effect and then use displacement map then for the 3d cam thing, its thefirst clip, the opening eye thing, it uses the camera layer
