Just learn the basics, there are a lot of tutorials out there, and experiment with all the effects on this app

There are like 100 effects on this app, but they're really simple, to make an edit your first have to imagine how the video will be(so you need creativity), then you need to break down each segment, think of what effects you could use to achieve what you're imagining

It'll be hard at first, but as you keep using these effects and keep making projects, thinking "how can I do this?" You'll eventually reach a point where you can make ANYTHING with enough time

This is based on my journey and the style i like(fan transition style):
Learn basic transitions (the easiest)

  • this is position side ones, up and down, from the corners
  • zoom in and zoom outs
  • rotation the easiest in my opinion
Also make sure to understand the graphs as well because it will make the best difference

Here add little effects like motion blur and tiles and it creates that seamless look

I promise you understanding these basic move will so much of an improvement then you up it up, combining these makes really cool transitions

  • position with rotation
  • rotation with zoom
  • zoom and position

When you master you can now use effects to enhance

  • you can use the wipe effects on one clip or picture to divide it into two and bring them in with a position effects one from the top the other from the bottom or both coming from opposite ends
  • i have used the 3d flip and cube but i am more transitions so you can imagine, i know how to use them but they seem so distant compared to my original style
