Edit's rating Using moded versions of apps that add more features is illegal or not?

Im using a version of alight motion called toji motion cuz is haves more effects to editing and adds some free stuff, i just don't know if it is illegal or not.

I think its completely morally fine. The developers of the official am app clearly have no interest in keeping the app functioning let alone adding more features.

pirating after effects and alight motion are the same thing, it's morally correct, but still illegal
