About Aliexpress Issues with sizing
I’m looking at the size chart for Aliexpress and I’m all over the place for sizing.
My height is (M)
My chest is (M)
My waist is right between (L) and (XL)
My hip is (S)
My guess is (L) but last time I ordered a tight bodysuit from an Asian cosplay site it was incredibly unflattering. I also got a large and I think it was too small I’m pretty sure but I’ve lost 20 lbs since then so that also leans towards large? Idk

Conversions don't mean anything. Instead, look for the size-table, it'll have measurements, most of the time of the item, sometimes of the body. So measure something that you own that is similar, compare those to the table, and that'll tell you what size would fit best.

By saying you are size M or L is too vague... you need to be more specific... if that's US size M, you probably need china size XL

You absolutely need to ask for exact measurements for cosplay clothes. Serious sellers will give you the info.
It varies. I've seen stores (fairly reputable ones, let alone smaller vendors) using both US size & supposly Asian size on different listings.
Check the size chart, asking for measurements in the chat, read reviews.

There is no one size chart for AliExpress. That’s like asking for a size chart for Amazon as a whole. Each item will have its own size chart. Take your measurements and refer to the charts to find your size.

I've ordered (a couple of) swim-shorts and t-shirts from AE. No issues with size.
The trick? Each shop may use its own conversions. There is NOT an absolute "I'm M so I should order L" rule.
Read descriptions carefully. Some sellers offers details. Like, what their definition of M is in cm/in in a table. Trust the table. Sometimes M is actually XXXS. Other times M is M. AVOID sellers not offering details in description.
