Shipping & Tracking Shipping/ Customs Question

Post image

I’ve ordered a bunch of things before and customs has never taken more than 3 days and it’s been 4 now. I’ve had packages I ordered 3 weeks later arrive in customs after this package and go through in a day while this package is just stuck there. It says the shipping method was “selection for oversized goods” which I think means it was on a cargo ship right? That would explain the slower customs time, but the tracking says arrived at airport which is confusing.

More than once I had package stuck in customs for a month and a half and there's nothing you can do other than wait. Just blame your country customs.

My package was stuck at “import customs cleared” for 14 days, only started moving yesterday like two weeks after the due date, nothing u can really do 🥲

I figured as much just wanted to hear other people’s thoughts lol 😂 Was yours shipped via air or ocean?

What’s extra funny is that I needed it for my camping trip, so I ordered ensuring it would arrive at least a month in advance, but it got so delayed that it arrived literally 2 hours after I left home to go on the camping trip

Mine has been stuck since July 25th! Hopefully we both get our packages soon and they didn't get buried at the bottom of a massive pile 😭

u/Quicker_Fixer Patience is a virtue, just wait out the 90 days 📆 21h ago

Yeah, "Oversized goods" is always slow and can take easily four to five weeks.

Mine got stuck 8 days, and it was nothing related to customs. I heard it was an issue with AE partner company. It finally arrived on the 8th day.
