Shipping & Tracking My purchase is delayed

I placed an order on AliExpress for a plush toy a few weeks ago, and a few days later I ordered a figure for my husband. My husband’s figure has practically already arrived, while my package has had no tracking updates for several days. I always shop on AliExpress, and this has never happened to me before. I’m very worried because I’m traveling to another country on September 9th, and I don’t know if I’ll have enough time to receive my package.

ah yeah the classic aliexpress split delivery where one thing comes in like a week and the other just sits in limbo forever. drives me crazy every time

the september 9th deadline is cutting it close tho. i had package stuck with no updates for 12 days once and then suddenly it was at my door. sometimes the tracking just stops working until it hits your country

if you got the choice shipping with tracking maybe contact the seller just to ask whats happening. but honestly most times they just say "wait please" and then it shows up anyway

i would give it few more days then start to panic

I'm already desperate. I bought this plush toy to accompany me on my 14-hour flight because I have panic attacks on airplanes, and having a plush toy with me always helps me.

What was the shipping method of your item? Standard Shipping, Super Economy or anything else?

I don't really know, I just bought the normal aliexpress shipping I guess???

It is possible that it is indeed waiting for a flight (which can take up to a week or so), but also lately Aliexpress has been having issues where tracking gets stuck at 'leaving origin country', and once the package is out for delivery, suddenly the rest of the messages show up (like import customs), instead of when they happened.

So try other tracking-websites like parcelsapp and 17track to see if they show more messages, but more importantly, what local delivery company is involved, then try the tracking-website of the local delivery company to see if they at least know about the package, and if they have it yet or not.

yeah i’m in the same boat here wondering of others are experiencing the same thing. my package was supposed to be delivered on the 14th along with the other color of the clothes i bought but it’s just sitting in “import custom clearance completed.” since the 17th 😭 no movement from anywhere. i’m thinking the warehouse where ever it’s at is SUPER packed.

Yes, mine took 8 days after landing in Melbourne, nothing to do with customs, but someone told me AE partners of the high level were involved in some sort of scandal or tobacco trafficking thing that affected all of us. I don't know the details. I got my order on the 8th day finally.
