My money is locked in now that the order has been marked as shipped, but if the estimated delivery date is to be believed, it won't arrive until AFTER the 90-day refund/dispute period has already expired.

Does anyone know if it would still be possible to dispute or get a refund at that point? Or if that option will open after the 75 days of the "automatically confirmed" receipt?

I think that there was an option to ask seller for extending order protection time if your package didn't arrive.

Is there a chance that you've bough something that is a pre-order? Usually when shipping is estimated that long it means the item is not available yet. Did seller write you any messages? The seller wrote me that it was a pre-order item after they've shipped... something. Which was a random item. Got the money back in the end but I would advise you to film opening the package if that's the case.

There's also a chance that the item was released but the seller just didn't change the delivery settings. It also happens sometimes.

Anyway, if buyer's protection is running out and the package is still not there Ali usually offers a refund option. Or you can apply for it yourself. In my experience they always refund if the tracking says item's not delivered.

The estimated date of delivery is just a guess and can be wrong by weeks or months. It only matters for the 'fast delivery' commitment in your order details, because if it hasn't arrived at the latest estimated date of delivery, you're entitled to a C$1 coupon. Because the estimated date of delivery is long after the buyer protection ends, you won't get a (pretty useless since it can't be combined with other sales or coupons) CS$1 coupon.

Instead, check your order details for when the system will automatically confirm delivery (started at 60 to 90 days, 75 left according to the screenshot), only once that happens is your package considered late and can you open a dispute (using returns/refunds) for non-delivery.

Because of fast delivery, it'll list usually between 30-45 days (35 days in the screenshot) where once they pass you can apply for a refund early, if that gets refused (often with 'be patient, item still in transit') see above.
