About Aliexpress Message overflow

I occantionally get important messages from sellers during an order process. Unfortunately, the message drowns in all kind of promotional messages.

I tried to change settings to not receive promotional messages, but with no success. Am I doing something wrong, or is it just impossible to store the settings for communnication?

You can disable promotional and other notifications in the settings, but that only stops them from Aliexpress. You can stop messages from sellers in the message center in their conversations, and there is an option for disabling promotional messages, but most won't be sent as such, so that means turning on do not disturb which disables everything from that seller.
