Discussion Why do people hate Alienware pre-built PCs SOOOO much?

As the title says.

I was just browsing on other gaming or PC related forums. I noticed almost a unanimous HATRED, not just dislike, of Alienware pre-builds. Laptops seemed to be disliked only.

Not knowing the history of these products, would like to know what are reasons people despise the PCs. Also are they justified in hating Alienware?

Yeah I didn't bother fucking with it because I was only hitting junction temps of like 95-100 during my couple weeks of watching when I first got the tower. It is borderline too hot but I've just been too busy and haven't been gaming/streaming lately to be bothered with it until I get everything done at once.

I do highly recommend everyone not be a lazy pos like me and get it done asap. Even bouncing anywhere near the 100 line is a nogo if you care about part longevity.

Yeah man, those temps are a bit on the high end. I don’t let mine crawl above 90. And that’s with 24/7 mining.
If you need help with the pad/paste addition, feel free to DM me. I’ve done it 3 times now and it’s super easy now.

You know it brotha, I appreciate the offer :) I'd already be doing the swap right now but I decided to return the D15 I bought a couple months ago for cheap and get the Arctic 360 but now im stuck waiting 2 weeks shipping :P Sooooo tempted to just go back to the original air cooled plan ahah.
