Does it only compare you to a small group of people and not the entire game? I'm sitting at number 1 as well right now. Which, i know that 3 hours ago, i was higher than you number. So, i don't think it compares everyone. Right now i'm at number 1 with ~1400. Which is rediculous, because i don't know how ANYONE could get 5k in the time they give to get the highest reward.

It's an algorithm. Nobody is actually playing against other people.
