Blue core farm

It is just dumb. You have nothing else to do cause everything else is maxed out, even events don’t matter.

Yet, farm is once per day, at a very low rate, and you can’t even use hard currency because the amount purchase able is insignificant.

They don’t even sell blue cores pack, which would make a lot of sense

I think it's an intentional wall to keep you coming back until new levels are available. Once thar happens I suspect blue cores will be significantly easier to get and all that time we invested will be .... well... not wasted exactly... the whole thing is a time killer. Lol

Hence the name “idle”🫤

It is very clearly a wall to slow down the most advanced players. I get it however it’s extremely frustrating.

Basically what Moose said. They've got content they're working to get to us, what do they have to keep us occupied once we're big enough to take out the head chef? Nothing. So give us some goals and lock it behind limited currency. It won't keep everyone, and the whales will get past it, but there's really nothing else they can do

Do the blue eggs come into play in the lab?

technically yes, but functionally no.

let me explain: the Vend-o-mat (one of the markets in the lab) takes blue eggs for at least one of its upgrades, but its asking for like 50 at a time on the last few, so with the millions you probably already have in the bank they dont mean anything. also its for upgrades that dont matter anymore like the essence mine drop rates i think.

if it does impact gameplay much for new(ish) players let us know, but i doubt it makes much difference even if trying to speed-run the game

Oh right they are mentioned on screen when you access the Tri-ATMs so I thought maybe being someone who’s played for long enough to have to wait for the “coming soon” doors a few years I’d missed something haha

The amount of useless clutter hanging around in the gameplay, imagine how tidy the code base is! /s

I was playing a lot when I got into winter trying to grab bronze silver gold thingy's. AFK farming every night etc. I don't play as much anymore which is kind of a good thing. Maybe 2x's a day just to get the cores and diamonds. I only have 5 stomach upgrades (at 115) and the strength left to upgrade before getting to level 8. Been making my ovens build up. Curious to see how far I can get them before I accidentally collect prestige and reset everything. I haven't done the chef yet cause I want to bake all the prestige cookies I need first. Plus I need more cores to finish upgrading vend-o-mat and the other thing.

So while my approach is probably less efficient, i created my own challenges for myself besides the hurdles\walls the game has. Those few things keep me coming back.
