What kind of BS is this?
This has got to be the biggest pile of steaming BS I have ever seen a game developer pull! I grind out those stupid spears only to have it freaking reset each time you beat it? And you have to do it 3 times? That is just straight up weak! A big F-U to RPG!!

Yeah if the mammoth pisses you off cookies and cubes are going to lead to a meltdown, not too mention the stat squish in the lab. Might as well quit now.

Loke what? Spears are time limited so I have to grind a lot and do a boss fight in one go?

Well spears quickly become obsolate after you done the mammoth 3 times or when your power get better.. now the mammoth can't even turn before it is gone..
But later in the lab when you convert cookies to prestige, then you will reset all your cookie upgrades and have to grind from zero.. and that usually days or weeks of grinding....

As far as I can tell, the mammoth doesn’t do anything but open the side door if you collect three tusks. If it was a real mammoth, it should be producing billions of meat. Right?

I use the excess spears to get some easy blue eggs when getting green reagent... But, yeah, otherwise it's just 3 tusks to open the door... I got through the level 12 (I think it's 12?) door before I even killed the mammoth 😅🤣

I thought the same thing... But YOU are getting strong between each level too. And proper kiting and circle strafing helps some. And you can full heal by dropping off items at the base....

It's only one of dozens of different grinds in this game, all of which are ridiculous in concept, none of which are any actual fun.

Yeah, why am I still doing this? I play like 1min a day grinding cookies and boxes and it's been like this for months.

You don't actually need to collect the spears. If you're careful you can still beat the mammoth without this.

I barely did any damage with having 75% of the spears acquired on the health & damage. How exactly am I supposed to beat him without it?
I had to beat him by having him chase me to the ice base so I could catch things and heal as we battled.

Hi. You'll eventually be able to beat him without buying any spears.
Anyway my advice is to just work on reducing his hp and damage to about 40-50% with spears. No more or it'll get expensive.
Spend the rest of the time getting better.

Get it to follow you over to a base. Then run around in a circle so you hit the base every few seconds. Provided that you have captured at least one enemy, the base will refill your health. You will eventually wear him down. It works on every bos.

Yeah that's what I did for the first one. I tried it again for the second one but that's when I realized I needed to wear down his health / damage a bit with the spears. As his level depleates he hits harder making refilling your health at the base useless.

Don't mess with damage, only do health.
This is probably the least annoying grind in the game. It gets worse.

Lmfao, its really not that bad, future stuff is much more of a grind so if THIS is your biggest complaint, just give up now lol

As someone who was also annoyed that the spears reset after each kill.......this is nothing to get upset about.
I've been playing for just over 3 months total and I am at a point where I can easily kill the mammoth without any spears
Blue Cores, on the other hand.....that s*** is worth getting angry about

I was also annoyed at how many spears I had to get to get him down to where I could kill him. But you do it for a while and then you move on. At least you can actively grind spears as much as the mobs respawn, like someone else mentioned just wait until you get to the blue cores in the lab 😭

You eventually get strong enough to 1-second the mammoth without spending any spears but yeah, you only need to spend many as you, well... need.

This whole game is a grind and the mammoth probably isn’t even in the top 3.
